Christine Tara Peterson, Ph.D.

Christine Tara Peterson, Ph.D., AHP, RYT, is a research scientist and Ayurvedic practitioner who has conducted clinical trials and experimental research in Ayurveda and Yoga at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine for over a decade. She earned her Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology, where she studied the gut microbiome, and is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda's clinical practitioner program. Her work bridges modern microbiome science with traditional Ayurvedic and herbal medicine, focusing on gut and nervous-system health.
