Dr. Jay Apte

Dr. Jay (Vaijayanti) Apte, B.A.M.S., M.S., is one of the most experienced Ayurvedic physicians in the United States, with more than four decades of clinical and teaching experience. She earned her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Pune University and a Master's in biomedical sciences, bridging Eastern and Western medicine. A pioneer of Ayurveda in America, she is a past president of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine and a former board member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, and today leads the DFW Ayurveda Center in Texas.
