Lisa Mattam

Lisa Mattam is the founder of Sahajan, a skincare brand at the intersection of ancient Ayurveda and modern science that she launched in 2015. Born and raised in Toronto to parents from Kerala, India, she spent much of her career in biotech and pharmaceuticals before turning to clean beauty after questioning the ingredients in her own products. Sahajan's formulations are developed with Ayurvedic doctors in Kerala and validated through clinical testing, bridging old-world wisdom and evidence-based skincare.
