Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati

Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, PhD, is a spiritual leader, author, and speaker who has lived at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, India for more than twenty-five years. Originally from Los Angeles and a Stanford graduate with a doctorate in psychology, she serves as president of the Divine Shakti Foundation, which runs free schools and empowerment programs, and as secretary-general of the Global Interfaith WASH Alliance. She directs the International Yoga Festival and is the author of the bestselling memoir Hollywood to the Himalayas.
